I'm Arif Setyo Aji, a Software Engineer with over two years of professional experience based in Jakarta - Indonesia. I use @medasaki as my internet nickname. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics at the University of AMIKOM Yogyakarta - Indonesia in 2017. I'm curious and passionate about functional programming and software engineering best practices. I also have some Data Architect knowledge that I would love to put into practice.

Kickstart of my work career. Not in any terms related to IT, but a Food and Beverage industry. Worked here as part of the Marketing team. One of the most interesting, fun jobs which includes, creating graphic design for marketing purposes and then posting them to social media sites etc. with respect tight deadlines.

An Introduction to the IT world. Entering such a giant company definitely had its perks. These about more than 2 years, lucky enough to work for a well-renowned/brilliant client named Bank BTPN, I got huge hands on exposure to various tech-stacks like JavaScript, ExpressJS, Vue, Full Stack Development, DBs, Agile-Scrum and many more in such a short span of time. It helped me mould my skills and choose a stream that I henceforth passionately followed. I also gained knowledge about the banking financial process, especially loans because I was assigned to the Lending division.
